When watching our second Florida commit of the 2015 class, Marquis Hendrix, two words come to mind: deceptively destructive. Joining Bryan Jefferson as residents of the Sunshine State, Hendrix has great size and deceptive speed. At 4.65, his 40 time is impressive for his 6'1 238lb frame. When watching his highlight film (featured below) you'll notice his patience. He calmly waits for the play to develop, and as soon as he identifies who has the ball, he promptly separates the ball from the carrier. Did I say ball, I meant soul. He is punishingly persistent and has the patience of a veteran backer. And to think Pittman hasn't gotten him into the weight room yet. If that doesn't give you goose bumps, I'm not sure what will.
Based on his Twitter feed, it was a foregone conclusion that he would eventually commit to the Broncos.
I'm fairly confident he at one point tweeted that his commitment merely waited on a visited to the Blue. So to say he is excited to be a Bronco would be an understatement. Welcome to Bronco Nation Marquis! Go Broncos!
