The Broncos 2015 recruiting class really took off this weekend with the Saturday verbal pledge from QB Brett Rypien and then continued into the wee hours of Sunday morning with Pocatello LB Kyler Manu jumping on board. It now looks like Rypien will have someone to throw to, as moments ago West Mesquite (TX) WR Akilian Butler (5'11" 180 lbs) also chose the Blue and Orange.

West Mesquite, of course, is the stomping grounds of Dylan Sumner-Gardner and apparently a new recruiting hotbed for the Broncos—which I'm totally fine with, by the way. The 3-star wideout had thus far received offers from Colorado and Clemson, but seems to like the direction the Bronco program is headed. Time will tell, but his commitment could also add a little boost to the Broncos' chances at landing his talented teammate and brother, Josh—a DB with a host of offers from UCLA to Michigan State. You can bet that Sumner-Gardner and Akilian will be working on the talented CB.
