The offseason is super duper long. I'm getting a little verklempt. Let's talk amongst ourselves.
If you're anything like me, you own multiple versions of Mario Tennis and you get irrationally excited about the potential of your favorite football team. Every offseason is the Offseason of Champions. Every spring game is a precursor for an undefeated season to come. Every vacant vendor booth a potential churro stand.
It's odd then that a certain thought washed over me during the spring game: doubt. As Grant Hedrick saild a pass over the head of a wide open Shane Williams-Rhodes, I wondered to myself, Is this not going to be the dream season I'm dreaming it will be? Are we actually in a transition year and not in the throes of a new golden era?
So I thought I'd ask.
What are your expectations for the 2014 Boise State football season?
I thought it might make sense to ask this once a month or so until, well, the end of the year. Our expectations change continually as we learn information and see how the team looks against Ole Miss. We have the new information of what this group looks like in a vanilla scrimmage.
Championships?
Above-averageness?
You tell me.
