Friday Pi(e) day

Broncos advance to MWC tournament semis

The Broncos started fast, endured (another) stretch scoring drought and eventually held on to beat the Nevada Wolfpack last night to advance to the MWC semifinal game tonight against New Mexico (25-6). The Broncos are 1-1 against the Lobos this year, but will really need to bring their "A" game tonight to advance to the championship game. "A" game also known as "San José State" game.

Harsin Spring Ball presser number two

Bryan Harsin met with the media again yesterday and it was...wordy. Good nuggets in there if you have 40 minutes to kill (and who doesn't?).

Broncos likely to land Arizona State transfer

Yesterday, we passed along the news that Sun Devil wide receiver Richard "Rick" Smith had been granted a release from the school and was visiting Boise as a possible transfer destination. Well, last night's tweet from Smith speaks volumes and it appears that The Blue will be his likely landing spot.

Smith played as a true frosh in Tempe, so has a redshirt year to burn that could sync up with his requisite year off that the NCAA demands of D-1 transfers. Basically, the speedy WR would have 2 years to play 2 starting in 2015.

Troy Ware looking for a breakout season

Fans and coaches looking for same.

ETC...Pi Day, so enjoy 100,000 digits of Pi (I'll be honest, I only got through about 7 before I got bored)
