It all comes down to this, is a phrase we can keep using for the next several days. Boise State needs to win tonight against Nevada to stay alive in the MW tournament and to stay alive for a free trip to the NCAAs. Although really, are we fans still holding our breath for an NCAA visit? I can only hold my breath for about 25 seconds tops, so I have moved on to breathing about other things: NITs, Invitationals, Bam Jam in my backyard (team captains: me and Roberto Bergersen).
The good news is that Boise State experienced positive reinforcement in starting fast with their 25-0 run to open last night's blowout. Not sure how much San Jose State had to do with that lopsided start, but hey, you'll take your momentum wherever you can get it.
Should be fun tonight. These two played some exciting basketball the last time they were together, and Craig Thompson will be watching this time. They better be on their best behavior!
