In the first go-around, San Diego State raced out to an early sixteen point lead against the anemic Broncos. To be as frustrating as possible, Boise State clawed their way back into the game setting up a chance to win with less than five seconds left only to see Derrick Marks toss up one of the worst jumpers of the year—in all of college basketball. Marks led the Broncos with 21 points, but that jumper combined with a #SCNotTop10 worthy blooper, made the game quite forgettable.
Today, Derrick Marks and Boise State have an opportunity to right the ship. San Diego State is having one of their best seasons ever and enters Taco Bell Arena as the fifth-best team in the nation. As crazy as it might seem to see an upset, Vegas predicts it will happen, currently listing Boise State as 1.5-point favorites.
You can still get TICKETS by the way. This should be a good one.
