Paris Austin: Two Cities, One Bronco

On Saturday evening, Paris Austin, a 5'9" point guard from Oakland committed to play basketball for Boise State.

I just would like to say thank you to all the coaches that recruited over the years but I've decided to go play in the mountain west and attend Boise st University . I am truly blessed to have this opportunity and to be able to play at a high level. Without god and my parents above me none of this could be possible, I am blessed #bleedblue #broncos

A consensus top-150 player in the country, Austin is the perfect complement to fellow 2015 signee SG Malik Harwell. In Coach Rice's system, there will always be shooters on the floor. The problem has been, and still possibly could be, distributing the ball to those shooters. In that regard, Austin is the perfect addition to the roster.

A quick, clever guard who is more of a penetrator than a scorer, Austin will bring a different element to the Broncos than we are used to seeing. Current guard, Montigo Alford, is seen to be the current roster's version the true point guard but has been hampered by offseason shoulder surgery.
