According to multiple media outlets, new Detroit Lions head coach Jim Caldwell has hired former Boise State Offensive Coordinator, Robert Prince, as his new wide receivers coach. Say what you will about his play calling (although I personally think he got way too much heat for it), the guy is a good coach, especially of wide receivers.
Prince is a known commodity around the NFL, having previously coached with the Falcons, Seahawks, and Jaguars, so this move was no surprise. All things considered, it seems like this was a best case scenario for Prince after missing out on being a part of both Boise State and University of Washington coaching staffs. Despite having to live in Detroit, he gets to coach the best wide receiver in the NFL, maybe ever, and will have his fair share of input regarding the position during the upcoming draft.
On behalf of Bronco Nation, good luck, coach!
