Luckily (or unluckily depending on your worldview), the Boise State Broncos have the privilege of facing off against the University of New Mexico Lobos tonight at one of the best venues in college basketball, The Pit. According the NCAA, The Pit is one of the loudest arena's in the country and holds over 15,000 spectators.
Up to this point, the MWC schedule has presented the Broncos with a string of nail-biters, with the closing minute victory against Utah State on Saturday being the most recent example. New Mexico, who is sitting at 13-4, have successfully navigated the transition from Steve Alford to Craig Neal. Although, the recent loss to UNLV at The Pit shows that the discernible home court they have doesn't guarantee them a victory.
Like death and taxes, expect this game to be a battle that will probably come down to the wire. Oh joy.
