What!?!?!?! Now you're posting about cross country!?!?!!
Every now and then, we post some tidbits about the Olympic sports. I think Boise State runner Emma Bates deserves it. Bates cruised to the MWC title over the weekend, setting a course record in the process. Boise State was also ranked 25th in the latest poll. Respect!
Grantland: Read-Option Progress Report
This should spark an interesting debate here at OBNUG. Bill Barnwell dissects the read option and thinks it's far from dead.
So, where does the read-option stand? Somewhere between where it was and where its detractors think it will end up. It's very obviously not dead. It's also not the mind-blowing force of nature that it was for San Francisco in the playoffs last year, nor could it ever really be that consistently good.
