BSU Men's Basketball loses at home to No. 19 New Mexico
The Bronco Men lost a tough battle to one of the better teams in the country Wednesday night. They took the game to overtime in front of over 10,000 screaming fans at Taco Bell Arena. This is a young, talented team, that has an incredibly bright future under Coach Leon Rice.
Chip Kelly bolts to the Eagles
After a lengthy interview process, the Philadelphia Eagles have finally landed their man: University of Oregon Head Coach Chip Kelly. Many thought the rumors were done, and that Kelly had made his final decision to stay with the Ducks. Much to Oregon's dismay, Kelly decided to take the NFL route, and likely the money that comes with it. Not to mention the impending sanctions, it was probably the best choice. Let the Coach Pete to Oregon rumors commence.
MWC votes and San Diego State is staying
As many have speculated, the San Diego State Aztecs have announced their intent to pull from the Big East and remain in the Mountain West Conference in all sports. This obviously helps strengthen the conference significantly, and is the best move for the school with the Big East falling apart at the seams.
Possible division scenarios for the new Mountain West Conference
In this possible scenario, Boise State gets stuck in a crappy division that they will undoubtedly dominate. With UNLV's announcement of a $700M stadium in the future, there's a good chance that the conference championship game will be held in Sin City.
