Bob Davie has installed the new scheme in his first season. It sounds like they use a variety of different option formations instead of just the standard triple option attack. All of a sudden I'm excited to see New Mexico play Air Force on 10/20!
I can't really disagree much with what Matt writes. It pains me to say it but Boise State has been bad at offense. And by that, I interpret that to mean execution. I believe the schemes still work, just that the execution has been lacking. I don't think that defenses have "figured" Boise State out. What do you think?
The 7th game would be a match up of the Big East champion and highest non AQ team. While I agree with Stewart Mandel that these proposed changes seem to make then new playoff look more and more like the BCS 2.0, it sure is nice for a change to see something seemingly benefit Boise State. I'll take it.
Not sure if this was communicated properly in all the design hullabaloo, but Kevan made good on the blog bet with Vanquish the Foe and had Mr. Fiskers pay them a visit.
