ESPN Insider claims suspension, but I can't see the article.
If you scroll down to the news feed on the link, you see an "insider" article claiming a BSU running back has been suspended. WHAT THE HECK!?!
Anyone got any info on this?

I can't see it but here's my guess...
Since Ajayi redshirted last year he never really missed any games (besides the bowl) and could perhaps be sitting out for this one?
There’s also a rumor about Petersen’s plan for Patti, whatever that means?

Where?
I don’t even see that article in the news feed. I can see insider article, so I could find out what it says if you have a link to it.

Speculation.
I tried the link again, and an updated news feed showed up. It’s all speculation about how Ajayi’s status is up in the air. They are saying that he could serve a suspension due to the shoplifting incident. They stress the fact that if Harper, god forbid, were to re-injure his ACL, we’d be down to a walk on and a true freshman. Point is, there’s no concrete announcement that Ajayi is out.

That would just be cruel...
If Harper went down to a third ACL tear, that’s just not fair to a person who’s, by all accounts, a class act. He deserves a full season as “THE MAN” in the backfield after all he’s gone through the last couple years (provided he can produce).
Thanks to Ohio State's president, I will never root for a Big Ten football program again (except in extenuating circumstances that aid my primary rooting interest).

The status of redshirt freshman running back Jay Ajayi is up in the air, but speculation is he will serve a suspension for the Michigan State game after pleading guilty to shoplifting last year," Kevin Hiatt of BroncoCountry.com reported.
I am not really surprised by this.
Didn’t see anything in the ESPN Insider “Rumor Central” article about Nick Patti.

Jeez. That’s it? We’ve known about Ajayi’s issues for months now. I thought it was something new.
Thanks guys for helping me get the info on that.

Here is the article
New quarterback Joe Southwick has been the primary topic regarding Boise State football recently, but the running back position is also a major concern as the Broncos prepare for Michigan State.
“The status of redshirt freshman running back Jay Ajayi is up in the air, but speculation is he will serve a suspension for the Michigan State game after pleading guilty to shoplifting last year,” Kevin Hiatt of BroncoCountry.com reported.
This comes on the heels of Boise State losing Malcolm Johnson for the season due to an ACL injury. D.J. Harper will essentially be the entirety of Boise State’s running attack to open the season.
“This is significant because (Ajayi) is the next true scholarship running back after starting running back senior D.J. Harper, who has missed two seasons with knee injuries,” Hiatt noted. “Walk-on senior Drew Wright is listed as the backup, but after him it’s Ajayi and true freshman Jack Fields. If Harper were to re-injure a knee, Boise State could be down to a former walk-on and a true freshman at RB.”

huh. The writer makes "former walk-on" sound like an ex in-law.
and Malcolm Johnson with an ACL? seems to me that Brent Sobleski needs to update his roster/factoids. I thought MJ was “let go” because of disciplinary infractions…or am I the one with the bad memory and BS isn’t.
