Well, it all sounds pretty exciting,
I just would prefer to read it from someone who employs a proofreader. I know that sounds silly, but if a writer wants to be taken seriously and have their content be the main focus, they better have all their periods and commas “in a row”. It is distracting.

You sound like my mother
She was an English teacher. I had it drilled into my head growing up, so I feel the same way. The big one that drives me crazy is the misuse of “can I”, when it should be, “may I”. It drives my wife crazy because she is an offender. I’m always responding with, “I don’t know, can you?”

lol... yep. drives me nuts, too. Maybe your wife does it for fun? And good for your Mom! Yeah, Moms & Teachers!
Like kills me, but not in the way it s overused. In the way it is mis-used. “We’re going to watch teams like Boise State this year”. Why not watch Boise State? Announcers and ads do it all the time. “Try this diet. You’ll eat things like pizza, steak, and ice cream.” I shout “such as!” but they never listen to me.
now watch. kcam will come on here and correct my punctuation or sumpthn.

Like, I don't understand what you're talking about
It’s, like, going right over my head.

Oh God
Now you all sound like my sisters, absolutely drives me nuts
You don't win wars by dying for your country, you win wars by having the bastard on the other side die for his.

Which one of your sisters is Absolutely?
I’d stay away from her.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they, too, have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexations to the spirit.
