The first round of training camp cuts came and went yesterday with only one Boise State casualty. Aaron Tevis was released by the New Orleans Saints (he was injured for much of camp), leaving the Broncos with an even 25 players on NFL rosters.

That means undrafted free agents Chase Baker, Kyle Efaw, Jarrell Root, and that Kellen Moore guy are still in the running to make the final 53-man list on their respective team. The next (and final) round of cuts happens on Friday.

Here are some notable Boise State players who are definitely not in danger of getting cut:

  • Billy Winn: For the second consecutive preseason game, Winn started at defensive tackle for the Browns. (He is going to split starting duties with third-round pick John Hughes.)
  • Jeron Johnson: For the second consecutive preseason game, Johnson recovered a fumble. He started at safety for the Seahawks.
  • Doug Martin: Most likely the Week One starter in Tampa Bay

The final preseason games arrive early this week as teams want to get the preseason over with and start planning for the regular season. There are three games tomorrow and the rest on Thursday. Read after the jump for the Bronco NFLers stats and schedules.
