CFN's Pete Fiutak previews Boise State, likes what he sees

A refreshing departure from the glut of rebuilding articles you will read about Boise State this offseason, the CFN preview acknowledges that the Broncos will be just fine because they've always been just fine. Fiutak is high on Blake Renaud, low on the competition in the Mountain West, and thinks an undefeated season is entirely within the realm of possibility.

There is a lot of turnover, but there's no one in the Mountain West other than Nevada that can stay within two touchdowns of the Broncos. It's a three game season with Michigan State, BYU and Nevada the only dangerous teams to worry about, and it's just possible that Boise State can win all three and go on to finish 12-0.

Couldn't have said it better (and with more homerism) myself.

Blue Ribbon picks Boise State to win the Mountain West

The full team preview is behind an ESPN Insider paywall, but the free version tells you all you need to know: Boise State is the class of the conference and the only names anyone recognizes (ergo, the only ones on preseason all-conference teams) are Matt Miller and Joe Kellogg. Sorry, Jamar Taylor and Jerrell Gavins. You don't exist apparently.

Yep, the Boise Burn's flaming, floating head made the list, as it should have.

My favorite quote:

We've been living in a hotel, getting room service every day so that isn't too bad.

Not bad at all.
