Chadd Cripe has a nice article on Gavins today. I had no clue that his initial mindset after the injury was to leave and go to the NFL. I'm glad Coach Pete was able to convince him to come back to school.

Blue turf appears in London for the Olympics

Riverbank Arena is where field hockey games will be held and it's a perfect shade of blue. Apparently the colors of the Olympic games are blue and pink so that was the reasoning behind the color choice. But you know that every NBC broadcaster is going to mention Boise State during the broadcasts. It would be a nice piece of cross promoting for Boise State's upcoming games on the NBC Sports Network.

How much would you pay to see Boise State wear blue at home for a MWC game?

People were asking what the MWC would do if Boise State came out in blue and Cripe tweeted that he'd assume they MWC would issue some sort of fine. I say we pressure the MWC to put a dollar figure on that fine so Boise State could start a fund.

Bronco Nation backing Doug Martin in Sportsnation poll

Maybe it's because we've all seen Martin vs. Blount before and we know how the story ends. I am glad they decided to use blue and orange as the coloring for the map. Even the states that support Blount are sporting Bronco blue.
