Former Boise State JC player Bryant Lemon donates $1 million to new football complex

The donation will be used for the new recruiting lounge which will be named the Bryant Lemon Recruiting Lounge. Lemon played for Lyle Smith back in 1953 and 1954. He went on to found an industrial contracting company called BRYCON Corp that is based out of Rio Rancho, N.M. Great news for the construction of the new complex.

Firm says move to Big East to pay off for San Diego State

San Diego State hired a firm that specialized in sports market research to double check their numbers on the move to the Big East. That firm came back with an estimate of $7.8 million per school per year with the new Big East contract. Definitely a nice jump from the revenue of the MWC. Now we just need to see an actual TV deal so we all can stop speculating.

What a tiny video board!

The video board was raised to make room for the new bleachers. Cripe also has a picture of the new south end zone bleachers being installed.

Memphis AD wants Big East games on NBC and ESPN

That's kind of cute that Memphis' AD is airing his wishes for the new TV contract like anyone actually cares. I guess he makes a decent point about having Saturday games on NBC and the rest on ESPN. I'm just wondering where ESPN is going to make room for all these games. Go ahead and start checking for the availability of ESNPU and ESPN Classic now.

The Mtn went off the air last night

I feel like I should feel a little wistful or something. But them going off the air just made it easier for me to abandon Comcast so whatever.
