I was speaking Martian. "Klaatu barada nikto"(ref original "The Day the Earth Stood Still"
when Patricia Neal is about to get zapped by Gort. The Martian has told her to say this, so’d Gort doesn’t kill her and everyone else on the planet ‘cuz he’s looking for the Martian. The phrase tells Gort the Martian is dead, go revive me him, and don’t go killing any earthlings unless they give you excess conversation while you’re at it. In the movie you can tell Gort is bummed-he really wanted to kill all our asses.)
