Shea McClellin will be in NYC for the draft

He was one of the 26 prospects that was invited to attend the draft. This is great news as this confirms all the buzz that McClellin could go in the first round of the draft. Ryan Clady holds the distinction as the highest Boise State player to be drafted at 12 overall (and McClellin doesn't seem to be generating buzz that high) and he wasn't even invited to the draft. Part of me worries that he could be the last one in the green room looking around nervously like Brady Quinn. Hopefully that does not happen.

PFT sees Doug Martin emerging as second best back in the draft (HT: Tbone)

Everyone sees Trent Richardson as the first back taken, but Martin is now solidifying his spot as the second taken. Doug has been on the road lately visiting teams. Kansas City is the latest to bring him in.

Boise State breaks ground on new football facility

There's video of the ceremonial gold shovels. I can't decide if the chain link backdrop is fitting or sad. Couldn't we have draped a massive Carl's Jr. logo over it?

AD Mark Coyle announces Boise State will not play 13 games this year

He stated the reason as they could not convince anyone to travel to Boise for a game. Coyle also noted that he's realized how hard it is to get people to travel to Boise.
