Another Swimming Post??
Some of you may remember me posting a couple of weeks ago about my girlfriend, Breeja Larson, breaking the NCAA record in the 100 breastroke. She lived in Boise for a few years and dragged this Bronco fan down to Aggieland with her. Her lifetime goal has been to swim her signature event, the 100 breastroke, in a time of 57.75. When told that this time was near unattainable as it would be an American record, and quite possibly a world record, she didn't waiver. And last night, at the NCAA championships in Auburn, AL, she was named NCAA champion by swimming a 57.71, breaking the Auburn Pool, NCAA, U.S. Open, and American record in the event. Tonight though, she goes for the title and the record in the 200Br at about 6:30MT. ESPN3 and CBSSports will be broadcasting the race. If your Saturday night finds you sitting at home, tune into either one of the links I post below to cheer on the former Boisean as she goes for gold again.
