Drama-filled storylines in Saturday's game

Revenge!

Boise State returns to Mackay Stadium for the first time since Kyle Brotzman went wide left and right two years ago in one of the most memorable games in Bronco history - memorable for all the wrong reasons. There is far, far less on the line for this visit to Reno, but at least we have our petty, passive aggressive vengeance. Nevada must pay for ruining Boise State's Rose Bowl shot in 2010! Someone suit up Colin Kaepernick so Demarcus Lawrence can sack him a billion times. (Kaepernick's not busy, right? What's that? He's the starting quarterback for the Super Bowl-contending San Francisco 49ers? Oh this is just getting worse and worse.)

Mountain West title!

If Boise State beats Nevada, the Broncos will win the Mountain West conference title, along with co-winners Fresno State and San Diego State. The only thing worse than sharing a conference title is not winning one at all, and considering the Broncos did the former last year, I'm sure sharing won't be all that bad.

Great offense versus great defense!

Nevada's offense is ranked No. 10 in the country, and Boise State's defense is ranked No. 8. Something's got to give on Saturday, and hopefully it's Nevada's YPC average.

Mike Patrick!

This game gets the ABC treatment, which includes a rare Mike Patrick-voiced Boise State game. For those of you unfamiliar with Mike Patrick's play-by-play stylings, read this post on EDSBS and get your mute button ready.
