Boise State falls to no. 15 Michigan State 74-70
The Boise State basketball team put up a valiant effort against nationally ranked Michigan State last night and nearly pulled the upset. The loss was Boise State's first this season. Derrick Marks put up a game high 25 points for Boise State but fouled out with 2 minutes 37 seconds remaining. Boise State is off until Saturday when they'll take on UC Santa Barbara back at the Taco Bell Arena.

It was a little odd but he got his message across. San Diego State is committed to joining the Big East. I'm personally of the opinion that the reason to go to the Big East is television and nothing else. Hopefully Boise State and SDSU are privy to negotiations to feel out whether the new Big East television contract will be worth it, but it would for it to be worse than the Mountain West one.
Bruce Feldman speculates about Petersen to Cal
It begins. Yesterday Jeff Tedford was fired from Cal. Feldman says that a source close to Petersen once told him that jobs he would consider would be Oregon and Cal. So everyone put your seat belts on cause the rumor mill is likely to ramp up!
