OBNUG Pick 'Em Contest: Eliminator picks for Week Twelve

This week proved to be especially tough for me with my choices down to only nine teams and some especially bad combinations. This is what I'm hoping for this week:

Oregon over Stanford

I do not feel confident about this pick, but given my other options it's the best one I have this week. I'm actually sort of rooting for Oregon this year to go undefeated just because I sure don't want to see Alabama back in the title game and I still don't like Notre Dame. So Kansas State and Oregon are kind of my defaults. Stanford is a tough team though and I would be tempted to pick them as an upset pick if we were just picking against the spread, but I do think Oregon will pull out the win and keep trucking towards the national title game.

Boise State over Colorado State

I have waited patiently to use my Boise State pick this season until the perfect moment, which may have come and gone last week versus Hawaii but is probably still relevant for Senior Day versus Colorado State football cupcakes. This year's Bronco team has been full of surprises (Southwick: Good or bad? Which MW team will they lose to at home?). I don't expect losing to CSU to be one of the surprises.

Air Force over Hawaii

Hawaii is bad. Air Force is mediocre. Mediocre > Bad?
