What I thought would be a fun exercise in prognosticating has turned into a series of unfortunate guesses. No one has yet to predict a Boise State score with 100 percent accuracy this season, probably because no one could have predicted offensive sleep apnea and three-point wins over New Mexico. This season has been strange, to say the least.
Dangling the carrot of a free jersey for a perfect score prediction has yet to produce a winner, but the sheer laws of probability dictate that someone will win eventually. Maybe this week? What say ye, universe? A reminder of the rules: If you predict the score of Boise State vs. Southern Miss exactly, you will win a Bronco jersey of your choice. It's as simple as that, but it's not really simple, is it?
I'm going with a 38-13 final score, proving I have learned nothing from the first four weeks of Bronco football. This game could be 17-16 as easily as it could be 38-13.
Keep hope. Be reasonable. Share your score guess in the comments.
