NCAA announces new penalty enforcement system

They just announced it, so time will tell if this system will be any better at appropriately punishing violations. It does include a four tier system for violations instead of the old two tier system that just had major and secondary violations. They are also increasing the committee on infractions from 10 to up to 24 members to be able to split up and review more cases in a timely manner. They also supposedly align penalties with violations in a more meaningful way.
