Boise State takes the NFL: Week Seven recap

Headline-maker: Austin Pettis

With the Rams lacking in healthy receivers, Austin Pettis - healthy and PED-free - received the start against the Green Bay Packers and caught a three-yard touchdown pass. It was Pettis' first career NFL touchdown catch, and instead of celebrating wildly in the end zone, Pettis calmly returned to the sidelines like a true professional and one whose team down 10 with 18 seconds left after his score.

Pettis takes his game across the pond to face the Patriots in London this weekend.

• Tampa Bay running back Doug Martin had one of his best games as a pro, scoring on a 36-yard run and accounting for over 100 yards passing rushing and receiving in the Bucs' narrow loss to the Saints.
• There will be lots of former Broncos on the TV tonight as Titus Young and Shea McClellin square off in Lions v. Bears. If you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of Kellen Moore on the Detroit sideline, maybe in uniform but probably in NFL-approved street clothes.
• Orlando Scandrick, Kyle Wilson, Billy Winn, Daryn Colledge, Quintin Mikell, Pettis, and Martin all got the start for their respective NFL teams on Sunday.
