The Boise State Broncos will be sporting all-black uniforms when they take the field against the UNLV Rebels for their homecoming game on Saturday. It will be the first time ever in black for the Broncos football team, and they're asking students to don black apparel as well in the stands.

Nike helped the school to create the uniforms, which will feature the familiar orange and blue colors of the Broncos in the numbers and trim of the uniform. The helmets will feature the player numbers on one side of them, with the other side holding a special silver version of the Broncos logo. The only color on the helmets will be the orange tint of the logo's eyes. The shoes will have a chrome look to them, as well.

The Broncos are following in the footsteps of the BYU Cougars, who held a 'blackout' game of their own last Saturday. Arizona State is also going all black for its game against No. 3 Oregon on Thursday.
