Shea McClellin gets combine invite
That makes four as McClellin joins Kellen Moore, George Iloka and Nate Potter. Still waiting on invites for Doug Martin, Billy Winn, Chase Baker, Tyrone Crawford and Kyle Efaw you guys. Don't let me down.
Boise State steals Hawaii LB recruit Tyler Gray
Gray had signed a LOI to Hawaii last February but grey-shirted this past fall leaving him eligible to opt out of his LOI. After Hawaii lost their coaching staff, Gray was open to other schools. He was set to return to Hawaii for classes on Wednesday when coach Robert Prince called out of nowhere and offered him a full ride. He accepted even though he hasn't even visited Boise State's campus.
Patriots offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien set to become Penn State's new coach
Well that was a lengthy search and I have no clue if this will be a good hire or not. He's apparently going to stay with the Patriots through the playoffs even though recruiting is kicking up pretty quickly. That could definitely hurt Penn State in the short run.
Bruce Feldman introduces us to the coach that came up with the hottest play in football
West Virginia decimated Clemson with a quick forward pitch/shovel/volleyball/pass to a streaking guy in motion. The idea came from coach Bob Stitt from Colorado School of the Mines. It's a great read on a play that I fully expect Boise State to adapt at some point.
Craig James unveils first TV ad and it's just as bad as you'd expect
He even goes so far as to align himself with Rick Perry and wear a cowboy hat. Maybe doing that will get himself far in Texas because I'm not sure how lauding the 5th place Iowa Caucus finisher can be a good thing nationally.
