OBNUG Pick 'Em: Week Three Results and Week Four Games

Pick Em
Pick Em

We're already to week 4 in this football season. It seems like it has been too slow and too fast at the same time. This week Boise State has Tulsa on The Blue, and for the past few days, there has been no point spread, probably because Vegas was trying to find out some more details on who Tulsa decides to wheel out at QB against the Broncos. Vegas' conclusion: It doesn't matter who the quarterback is, this one's gonna get ugly. The Broncos are now a 32.5-point favorite.

Join me after the jump and we'll take a look at the leaderboard so far and this week's slate of games.

Now onto this week's picks ...

Stone cold lock of the century of the week

Notre Dame finally showed some life last week beating Michigan State and screwing over my stone cold lock of the century of the week, so I'm now an ice-cold 1-2 on the year. But I have a really, really good feeling about this pick this week.

(10) Oregon (-15) OVER Arizona

Although Oregon's offense is a bit of a sham when it is up against a big, physical defensive line that can stuff them and force them into 3rd and longs, it can still break off huge plays and put up big numbers against mediocre defenses. Arizona has shown little on defense against Stanford and Oklahoma State the past two weeks, and I think that trend will continue this week.

Count it.

The rest of Nick's picks

Bonus game

Not all games can fit into Yahoo's weekly Pick 'Em board, especially not the WAC ones that no one cares about. Well, we care about them. This week's bonus game:

Fresno State (-6.0) OVER Idaho

Hey-o, nothing like a clash of the 1-2 titans of the WAC up in Moscow. Idaho is in shambles, and I just don't see how the fighting Akeys can pull out of this tailspin.

Your turn

Feel free to share your picks in the comments and/or discuss this week's slate of games. Since I'm not tallying these manually anymore, it's wide open. Who you got? Let's hear it.
