Happy Friday, you nutty kids.
Here's local sports reporter J Bates hitting a halfcourt shot.
Proverbial embedded reporter Tom Scott on Boise State player-run-practices
The Broncos are in the thick of summer practices, sans coaches and sans media. Good thing Tom Scott knows people. Here is the scoop:
Reportedly making big impressions on their teammates during the voluntary workouts are true freshmen Jay Ajayi, Dallas Burroughs, Blake Renaud, Samuel Ukwuachu and Jeff Worthy, who arrived less than two weeks ago to enroll in summer school. Observers say they definitely pass the eyeball test and could be studs.
Who are these observers and why aren't I one of them? Also, Kellen Moore is teaching Jimmy Laughrea how to take snaps from under center, something that Laughrea has never done. Freshmen, how adorable.
Moore to serve as coach / counselor at Manning Passing Academy
Not coaching the read option, I hope.

Hope you weren't planning on getting your BSU - Georgia tickets at IdahoTickets.com
The site is sold out for the September 3rd opener. Guess you'll have to scalp one of those 53,000 Georgia tickets.

Proposed blockbuster: Karl Benson and the Deathly Hallows
Now there's a movie I would see, and not even in the dollar theater. I'd pay $9.50 for that.
Todd Harris to bring classy play-by-play to the Mtn.
The former ESPN sideline reporter will be named the lead play-by-play man for the Mountain West network. Now if we can just keep Dick Tomey out of the booth, we'll be in business.
