(Big Sky commish) says he would like to extend invites to Utah State and Idaho....the plot thickens
Vandal athletics - HAHAHAHAHA.
Kellen Moore got jobbed with the Heisman odds
In case you missed it, Moore is a 15/1 longshot to win the Heisman. This makes Paul Myerberg angry.
I know it's just one set of Heisman odds, but the lack of respect for a Kellen Moore is distressing. He's a senior quarterback on a top five team with mammoth numbers. He's not Andrew Luck, but who is? Moore's simply the reincarnation of B.Y.U.'s Ty Detmer: an awesomely talented quarterback playing on a national title contender with sublime statistics - just one who doesn't have the seal of approval from the folks who dictate to the nation just who should be your Heisman winner.
Myerberg could not be more right. Unless ...
Kellen Moore did not get jobbed at all with the Heisman odds
Dr. Saturday sees things a little differently.
Kellen Moore? Unless he turns in a ridiculous effort against Georgia to start the season and Boise State's playing in the BCS title game to finish it, no.
WAC about as good at announcing expansion as the MWC is at announcing logos
All that fuss and all the WAC did was add Seattle University, a school without a football team. Apparently, the WAC will continue to look at football schools and maybe announce something of significance further down the road, you know, when Lamar and Cal Poly aren't their only options. It could be awhile.
More links after the jump.
Oh by the way, Boise State is going to destroy TCU
Can't believe I missed this the other day when posting the Georgia-BSU line. The Broncos are favored by nearly two touchdowns over TCU.
If you're dreaming about conference realignment, you could do a whole lot worse than this
A Northwest Conference featuring the Washington schools, the Oregon schools, the Utah schools, Idaho, and Boise State? I want to go to there.
Happy birthday to these people
Happy birthday to Boise State incoming freshman RB Jay Ajayi and OBNUG reader TooMuchYoung. May all your birthday wishes come true.
