The AP poll is a joke
Somehow, we move down two spots despite winning pretty handily. Thankfully, the AP poll doesn't determine anything BCS-wise.

With 2 unranked teams left...
New Mexico and LaTech left, not much room to improve……
We likely will finish 8-10th in the final polls.
Chris Petersen is in the dictionary next to the word AWESOME.

I disagree at least with the final BCS poll
The bottom line is that the computers like us this year due to win/loss records of opponents and no FCS opponents on our schedule. The computers have ranked us higher than any of the human polls due to the high number of opponents we have with winning seasons. As long as Nevada wins it’s last game, we will have faced 8 opponents with winning seasons (and beat all but one of them). Either way though I think that all human polls need to be removed, yeah call me crazy for leaving it all up to the computers, but the computers don’t see BCS and non-BCS or conference labels. They simply see win-loss records and win-loss against opponents (as well as ranked opponents). So no one freaking out because an SEC team beat another SEC team and jacking a team’s rankings through the roof. You should’ve seen what happened in week 5 (or was it 6) when an Auburn team that had fallen out of the rankings beat SC in a close game. Stupid AP/Coaches poll skyrocketed them from unranked to number 15 all because of that one win. Even some Auburn fans were scratching their heads on that one. Bottom line is that the tradition and arrogance are human factors.
