OBNUG Pick 'Em: Week Six Results and Week Seven Games

Pick Em
Pick Em

After several weeks of breaking gamblers' hearts, Boise State finally got off the schneid last week and covered the 21-point spread against Fresno State. That was nice to see. Hopefully that trend can continue this week as Boise State faces an even higher spread against Colorado State.

Let's get on to this week's picks.

Now onto this week's picks ...

Stone cold lock of the century of the week

Arkansas put on quite the offensive display last week against Auburn's terrible pass defense and easily covered the stone cold lock of the century lock of the week to bring my record to a nice 4-2 on the season. Let's keep this winning streak going with another winning pick.

(1) LSU (-14.5) OVER Tennessee

LSU has been rolling and Tennessee has been struggling. Vol QB Tyler Bray is likely out of the game this week after suffering a broken thumb. Justin Wilcox's defense still isn't where I expected it to be at this point in his second season. I'm really surprised this line isn't over 20 points. Maybe Tennessee can play inspired for this game after how they lost to LSU last year, but I'm not feeling it and I don't think bamboo is sprouting this week for Tennessee. Lock it down.

The rest of Nick's picks

Bonus game

Not all games can fit into Yahoo's weekly Pick 'Em board, especially not the WAC ones that no one cares about. Well, we care about them. This week's bonus game:

New Mexico State (+1.5) OVER Idaho

I don't know what I was thinking last week about Idaho actually playing some inspired football during homecoming. The Vandals went out and only could muster 11 points versus lowly Louisiana Tech. This week they'll travel down to play New Mexico State and as bad as the Aggies are, I will not let myself fall into that trap again.

Your turn

Feel free to share your picks in the comments and/or discuss this week's slate of games. Since I'm not tallying these manually anymore, it's wide open. Who you got? Let's hear it.
