Never in my life

would I thought I would have anything in common with hitler, but walking from the stadium to the casino after that game, I went through pretty much the same thing. God I hope we get that other kicker we offered.

This makes the loss feel a tad bit better.

Kinda..

I once meet Coach Pete and shook his hand. I knew at that very moment, I had touched God.

That is damn funny!

You have to be able to see it for the humor, I guess.

But I think it’s great. No disprespect to Brotz or the Broncos at all, sometimes it’s good to laugh at yourself.

Championships should be earned on the field, not in newspapers or computers.

Totally was funny.

Thats weird... I thought he was dead...

I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany

BTW the segment believe refers to Himmler's defense in the east.

I don’t speak German, but he mentions Himmler several times. Himmler was in charge of the SS and by the end of the war virtually all police functions in the Third Reich but wanted to command an army in the field. He got his chance, and proceeded to prove he was still a chicken farmer at heart. He deployed east-west as opposed to north-south. This was akin to guarding the window while leaving the front door open; Marshall Zhukov, head of the Soviet divisions marching towards Berlin, simply bypassed the Waffen-SS forces under Himmler and kept on pressing for Berlin. Himmler’s army was rendered irrelevant; since this was a significant amount of the dwindling German military, it was a significant loss. I think Hitler gets the news in this scene. Hilter here is angry but not delusional. There is a segment later in this movie when the Soviets have surrounded Berlin and Hitler keeps referring to Schweicker’s attempted rescue. By then Alf was nearly insane; even at full command Schweicker didnt have a fraction of the forces necessary to render any significant aid and in any event was unable to defend his division let alone rescue Berlin..
