CGB has Boise State ranked #2

I just happened to be on the California Golden Blogs and noticed their Blog Poll has Boise State ranked #2! It was also nice to see some of the comments about the Broncos, here is my favorite:
"I think Arizona/Iowa/Penn State are all better than Oklahoma State/Georgia. And all five of them are better than Wisconsin. Pretty clear that Boise can play with anyone, though."

Big rec here. It’s so awesome to see the rest of the nation giving Boise State great props (finally). Yes, they can bash our schedule anytime they want to, but they’ve never said Boise isn’t a good team, despite such weak schedule.

The Bronco bashers are pretty much left to arguing the SOS angle. If I were the attorney for the BCS I would advise extreme caution. Obama made some remarks that, while not directly threatening, were singularly unusual for a subject not within his purview. The title game is either 1)to decide the best team in America,on the field, period or 2)only available to teams within the sacrosanct BCS conferences. If BCS or its minions even come close to suggesting 2) its Sherman Act time baby.

Last week the West Virginia bloggers had Boise State at #22 up from #25 the week before. They haven’t submitted a poll yet for this week.

Here is a breakdown of BSU’s placement on the ballots submitted so far for this week. The final ballots are due by 8AM on Wednesdays.

One other blogger also has BSU at #2.
