Obama for playoffs: the only platform that matters

Health care? Meh.

Social security? Ask us again in 30 years.

Economic policy? Homeland security? Education? Blah, yesterday, and whatever.

College football playoffs? Now you're talking.

New president-elect Barack Obama is okay in our book for the simple fact that he wants to get rid of the BCS as badly as we do. And considering that he has far more executive powers than we do, getting rid of the BCS might actually happen. Obama told ESPN's Chris Berman on Monday that if he could fix anything in sports, he would champion change in college football's asinine national champion selection process. Sorry, steroids in baseball; you should have voted Independent.

Wow. What's next? Appointing Graham Watson to his presidential cabinet? Ugh. Forget we mentioned that.
