Jeron Johnson destroys his way to weekly award

Jeron Johnson earned WAC player of the week honors despite not knocking anyone out of Saturday's game. The sophomore safety had 13 tackles, two fumble recoveries, and a pass defensed.

Russell Hill's short-term memory believes the award was long overdue.

Johnson was part of a very strong group effort from Boise State's secondary that included Ellis Powers, Kyle Wilson, Brandyn Thompson, and others. Marty Tadman approves.
