Know your enemy

Know your enemy: Bowl edition

ASU

Here we are at last...the final game of the season. I don't know how it got here so fast or why I've been crying for the last week and a half, but I suspect the two are inter-related. Arizona State had a disappointing-to-mediocre season, but they'd love to finish with a Las Vegas triumph over the Broncos. I don't think that Kellen Moore and crew want to go out that way. The time for revelry and awkward photos with showgirls is over and the game is just hours away, so what say we do a bit of last-minute cramming and get to know our bowl game enemy. You won't see this again for like 9 months...what could it hurt?

Know your enemy: New Mexico edition

Kye_lobos_medium

Senior Day is now upon us and we have to begrudgingly say goodbye to more seniors than I wish to count. Luckily for them, they'll be going out on top as the hapless New Mexico Lobos come to town, so I'm really looking forward to that tackle-eligible TD by Nate Potter. The Lobos don't exactly have a storied history, but I managed to scrounge up some bits of trivia for those longing to know them better. Your regular season finale of Know your enemy awaits...

Know your enemy: Wyoming edition

Kye_UW_medium

This weekend the Broncos stay home to work off the second helping of pumpkin pie against the better-than-we-expected Wyoming Cowboys. I'm out of town all week for Thanksgiving, so I won't be able to do my know your enemy cram session, but as luck would have it...we played Wyoming last year and these facts are pretty awesome...so if you're new to the site or enjoy reruns—enjoy. Oh...and happy Thanksgiving everyone. Let's give thanks for Kellen Moore.

Know your enemy: San Diego State edition

KYE SDSU

Well, tomorrow is game day again...and I feel like we haven't even had time to grieve. San Diego State is coming off a close win against Colorado State and the Broncos...well, let's just say that I left Bronco Stadium feeling like Hercules did when he found out he wasn't in his world:

The Broncos have an opportunity to right the ship, however, with a win over the Aztecs and personally, I'm hoping for an easy win so my heart has time to heal. All that's left now is for us to know our enemy. Let's do this.

Know your enemy: TCU edition

Kye_tcu_medium

Probably the biggest home game since 2009 will take place this Saturday afternoon and it should could be a doozy. OBNUG has covered all the angles on the first and likely last in-conference tussle between Boise State and TCU, but don't think you're getting off that easily—there are trivialities to attend to. It's time again to know your enemy, Bronco Nation. Let's get started.

Know your enemy: UNLV edition

KYE UNLV

Boise State came out of their bye week unscathed and now head to Vegas to try to beat up on the Rebels of UNLV. UNLV is coming off a close victory over Colorado State and would like nothing more than to spoil the Broncos season. Will it happen? No...but that doesn't mean we shouldn't do our due diligence and take a closer look at UNLV and their sleepy little town in the Nevada desert.

What the heck...let's get to know our enemy.

Know your enemy (who's really our ally): Air Force edition

Kye_afa_medium

Well, the Broncos are all set to take on the Falcons of Air Force for the first time ever tomorrow and the excitement is building. Boise State is 6-0 and coming off an old-school beating of Colorado State and the Falcons are coming off a tough loss to San Diego State. The Falcons run an unorthodox offense, and they run it to perfection, so the Broncos will have their work cut out for them despite the squad's 3-3 record. Kevan has done the heavy lifting this week and broke down the opponent for you, so there's really nothing left but to boggle your mind with useless facts and trivialities! It's time again, to know your enemy...but since they're a service academy, I use the term lightly.

Know your enemy: Colorado State edition

KYE CSU

Boise State will play their first game as a member of the Mountain West Conference on Saturday against Colorado State in Fort Collins. Colorado State is coming off a bye week that preceded a loss to San José State and the Broncos are coming off a bye week where they played Fresno State. Boom roasted. It should be exciting to see a new conference opponent for a change and Colorado State, as you'll find out below, has a pretty colorful history Of course, this won't help them once the game starts...but it'll be fun to learn anyway, right? Right?

It's time again to know your enemy.
