I didn't know there was such thing as a "Bronco Girl", but young(?) Chelsea Tindell, astride Gidget appears to have nailed the audition. As far as I can tell, the current Bronco girl prerequisites are to be a girl (check), be able to ride a horse (check—and harder than it looks I might add), and carry a flag, which Chelsea here does bearing the stars and stripes (a good choice). Frankly, I don't know if we have any say in this matter, but if Chelsea wants to be the "Bronco girl" enough to submit an audition tape—she's got my vote. Check out the 2:30 mark where Chelsea loses her hat, but never breaks gallup. Flawless execution. Go Chelsea!

This is video of Chris Petersen's post-spring-game interview with the local media where Statesman reporter Dave Southorn specifically asked Petersen if Ukwuachu's absence from the game was going to affect his status for the upcoming season. Petersen said not to worry (3:15 mark of the above video). In other news, Brian Douglas has not, I repeat, NOT been sold for parts. Probably.
