Recruiting taketh away and it giveth. Not 24 hours after the Broncos lost WR recruit Chris Seisay to Oregon, they've picked up a commitment from WR Jack Austin of Chino Hills HS, according to THIS tweet by Matchmakers Sports Consulting moments ago. Austin is 6'3" and 205 lbs. and camped with the Broncos last week. After the Seisay episode, it's worth reiterating that verbals are non-binding...but we certainly hope this one sticks. Austin's verbal again gives the Broncos 8 commits so far for the 2013 class. This is unconfirmed news at this point, but I'd trust Matchmakers assessment...the group is run by former Bronco coach Kenny Lawler. Austin's Scout profile.
