Reid Harrison-Ducros committed to the Broncos first thing this morning. What, you haven't heard of him? That's because this kid is a major sleeper. MAJOR. Listed as a 2-star recruit by Rivals and 247 and no ranking on Scout, this kid defines the term "lock-down". According to his website, here are some of his key junior stats:
- In 9 of 11 games no pass completions were allowed. In case you need clarification, QBs either didn't throw his way, are weren't allowed to.
- Total completions on the year are 4 for 45 yards and no touchdowns. one INT, 50 tackles, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
- During the playoffs against the defending state champs, no completions were allowed, 10 tackles, 2 forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
Those are all pretty impressive stats. The kid also boasts a 4.42 GPA as well as offers from Yale, Colgate, Texas State, ULM, and Boise State. He was the top CB at the recent Boise State camp where he was offered based on his performance. They don't call Boise State DBU for nothing. I expect offers to start pouring in for this kid, but he's obviously smart, so I don't see him going anywhere.
Below are some highlights from the Nike Open Regional as well as the Boise State camp. We seriously got a good one with RHD. Paired with Lewis, it's safe to say that DBU is in good hands. Go Broncos!
