Its not so bad, really. The expectations are inheirently low for the common core math types. Bronco Nation is pacified by the River, and the decks produce the appropriate grunts on Albertsons (Deli) Stadium Steps. An apt begining for this summer novel read. Broncos are living In sleepy Hollow near my rock abode. This chapter of Bronco nation is a page turner for those sleeping off the picnic at Ann Morrison park, under the shade tree after a supple amount of libations. My staking out a park bench as if it were my own personal matress store, inspires any Bronco dreams for the up-coming football season. The fashionable question is posed for all hip players in 2014, am I a "Baller"? Before anyone makes the kids plug their ears, and make them go to their rooms for a nap, the adult on duty should not jump to its adult conclusion, of what a "Baller" is, are those the guys plinking up and down those steps at the Albertsons (Deli) Stadium during days of summer? Yes!
Why do they do it, nobody really knows for sure, but by December those "ballers" find themselves in a warm climate doing a dance jig in Las Vegas or if lucky enough go further into the desert to a January place right next to a dried up river bed. They (THE PRESS) say that place is better than living under a rock during the summer in Boise, ID. Who knew?
I can see all the way to the stadium from my own rock. I used to work by a window overlooking the stadium before my great mishap. That was a real taxing job until I took a bullet for my "Home Team" at work. Sad but true. Now I have been placed under a rock just to write about anything that I love to write about, Bronco Nation, and the likes for its Football team.
So what is a "Baller"? Its the kind of guy I could never be. Someone who achieves excellence in school while doing weight training. A Student of BSU who can out run, out catch and out wrestle, a pond full of gators (sorry SEC). Who are these ballers? BSU Broncos know that they have a new coach, swagger, and purpose driven bent on making silly putty out of teams unfortunate enough to play the Broncos. The players are defined by resolve beyond its purpose driven outcomes, that are found this school of excellence. Playing footbal in my youth taught me so much about life, that during my life, I applied leason learned from the game. Having the internal strength, resolve and purpose from football was the catalyst for success. That's what those Broncos steps taken in the stadium represent. It makes a complete person of whom becomes a complete Bronco. Even though some don't make it, most do at BSU. To be a good fan this year means much more than cheering or yelling "advise" from the bleachers, it means you stick in there no matter the game outcome, because you are running those steps too, only from your stadium seat, and your desire for excellence is felt on the Blue.
My Rock, that I live under during a Boise Summer, is perfect.
