BYU asked this question a few years ago. Some Aggies are cowboys.
But I'm not sure if even Utah State knows exactly what an Aggie is. (Last year, I asked why aTm doesn't call themselves the "Mechies.")
So I Googled the Utah State Aggies to look for pictures, and this is what turned up.
Hmm. Looks to be some sort of bovine. Maybe a cow? Looking further, I found out that they are actually a very well-known team. And, yes, their mascot is definitely a cow. The Utah State Cows.
They have a cheer squad.
They often play with an empty backfield.
Sometimes their team wears tinfoil hats–and other interesting uniform parts.
Well, I like good beef, so, after the Broncos are finished rounding-up and T-boning the Cows Saturday night, maybe I'll stick around to help glean the field.
Barbeque, anyone?
