Moments ago, we (everyone) learned that Fullerton JC cornerback Marnez Ogletree has pledged his verbal commitment to the Broncos...info that was finally sealed with Bryan Harsin's best two word (and a hashtag) tweets:
GO BRONCOS!!! #ATF
— Coach Bryan Harsin (@bryanharsin) October 16, 2014
Ogletree received his Bronco offer (his first) just 3 days ago, but it obviously didn't take much to sell the JuCo speedster as he mulled things over for less than a week before pulling the proverbial trigger. As you can see from Ogletree's midseason highlights, there isn't a shortage of speed in his game, nor a lack of aggressiveness on defense. Get this kid on special teams, STAT.
The always-intrepid Dave Southorn ran down some mid-season stats (six games) for Ogletree, and there exactly what you'd like to see from a DB—especially one in a Marcel Yates' system—20 tackles, 1 int, 7 PBUs and some nifty kick returns that can be seen above. Marnez is the 10th known commitment of the 2015 Boise State recruiting class. Verbal commitments are non-binding...but again, you don't have to go blabbing that everywhere, understand?
