I recently submitted a proposal to Boise City Council for a complete redesign of downtown Boise. The major issues of proposal were color related. New ordinances would be imposed requiring all structures to come into compliance with code no later than August 31, 2013.
The beauty of the code is its simplicity. There are only two colors from which to choose, thus eliminating the headache of costly designers. It requires no architectural modifications other than removing anything that eludes to Eastern Germanic tribes circa 400, otherwise known as vandals.
Below is a rendering of my request, utilizing one possibility of the color scheme
Notice that some buildings chose to use both available colors, and some only choose a single bold color. There are many options available under my proposal, which I'm sure the public will enjoy.
Please extend your support for this noble project by offering comments below that I can take to city council. They will be eager to hear of the initial public support from OBNUG.
