Looks like BSU made a fantastic decision to stay in the MWC:
The MWC is finalizing a 7-year TV deal with ESPN that will place all 6 of BSU's home games on ESPN, bringing in a minimum of $1.8 Million extra each year separate from their share of the conference's regular TV deal.
ESPN reports the total contract, CBS Sports included, will yield roughly $116 Million over 7 years, or about $1.5 Million per team per year. Plus, there's still room for more in the contract once the conference negotiates a TV deal for the conference championship game.
Add it all up and BSU is looking at a minimum of $3.3 Million annually from their TV contract, better exposure with a minimum of 6 appearances on ESPN, and room to grow and make more money through performance.
