Boise State has had recruits coaxed out of their verbal column already this year...but lately turnabout has been fair play.
Boise State appears to have received a commitment from CB Cameron Hartsfield (5'11" 180 lbs) while he was on an official visit this weekend. The Allen, TX CB had committed to Nevada last week and it's safe to say he was a bit off the radar for many followers of Boise State recruiting news. Clearly Boise State is looking to add depth to their secondary late in the recruiting cycle, however and Hartsfield is a welcome addition. Ex Cal commit AJ Richardson is reportedly in Boise on a weekend visit as well, so we'll see if he leaves as a Bronco as well. Hartsfield was defensive MVP of the Texas 5A state finals last season and had scholarship offers from UTSA, Stephen F. Austin and Nevada. Signing day is Wednesday.
