I've always been fond of the "wolfpack" as a mascot and yet few athletic departments find innovative ways of representing it as a logo. The mangy dog on Reno's helmet is awful. Providing it on white, silver, and blue helmets doesn't help.

I'll admit, Reno's wolf peering around the "N" is a really cool logo, but I don't think they've ever put it on their football helmets.
