It has been way to long since I have contributed anything to this fine
establishment blog. I guess that is what happens when you have a kid, try and be responsible, and go back to school.
So many people seem to be going crazy about recruits de-committing (and then committing to Washington) and other players leaving the program. You players change their mind. It seems like every year there is a massive lament for players that leave the program and choose to go elsewhere. Outside of this season can anyone name a player who de-committed from BSU? Can anyone name a player who has left BSU and has gone on to be really successful elsewhere? Anyone remember Aiona Key? Nick Lomax?
All I'm saying is players will go where they want to go and when they get there it is ultimately up to them to be successful or not. Everything I've heard about Jalen Green is he is a pure read option QB. It also sounds like Harsin is going to fully commit to the read option. If that's the case it doesn't sound like Green would be a great option here, so why use a scholarship for him if he doesn't fit the system? Not a great reason to get upset.
Speaking of getting upset, how many people are going to whine an complain and write scathing posts about Harsin if he gets a kid to de-commit from Arkansas State and commit to Boise State? What if he even calls and talks to them? Oh the humanity!....
